Quantum Engines consists of 3 tiles, Core Injector, Core Ignitor and Quantum core. All three must be place together in the correct positions and orientations for the engine to function.
A Quantum core requires that at least one Core Injector and one Core Ignitor are placed in direct contact with it.
A Core injector has 3 pipes on one side, that is the side that needs to be in contact with the Quantum core. The Injector requires a supply of D³ fuel via one of it's three remaining sides.
A Core Ignitor has a sloped side, that is the side that needs to be in contact with the Quantum core. The Ignitor has three sides that need to be supplied with power from Large Cables, Advanced Transformers or Advanced Power Cells.
